Is SiteInformant a service or something I need to download?
Your SiteInformant reports are accessed through a password-protected, web-based user menu – there's nothing to download and the program files are stored with us, not saved to your hard drive.

Does SiteInformant track individual pages or entire websites?
Both. Unlike other services, SiteInformant gives you the power to track entire websites or specific pages within a site. You tell us the content that is most important to you, and we take care of the rest.

Can I filter out changes I don't really need to know about?
Yes. SiteInformant can "ignore" information that predictably changes – like rotating banner ads, stock tickers, hit counters and copyright information.

Can SiteInformant monitor secure websites or pages that require
a login?
Yes. All we need is your login information and we will configure SiteInformant to monitor content behind the login page.

How often is my information updated?
SiteInformant automatically checks for new information every 24 hours and provides subscribers with reports at daily, weekly and monthly intervals. We can also configure SiteInformant to analyze websites more or less frequently, to meet your specific needs.

Does SiteInformant work with dynamic sites?
SiteInformant easily handles most dynamic content. There are a few exceptions, which can be managed through some minor setup customization. We work with each client individually to ensure selected sites are compatible.

How long does it take to set up my SiteInformant system?
SiteInformant can be set up in a matter of days in most cases, not weeks or months like some of the setup and integration process associated with other services. Setup time will vary, depending on the number and complexity of the sites you'd like to track.
